vmware view 5.0 Desktop 가상화 환경에서 view connection서버 접속시 15~20초 정도 Delay되는 현상이 발생할때 

아래와 같이 group policy를 수정해줌으로써 해결할수 있다.

위 항목을 Enable 해주고 재부팅후 접속한다.

View users inside the firewall might experience a 15-second delay when connecting to View Connection Server, while Windows attempts to reach Windows Update Server. (2020988)

Details

After a user enters the View Connection Server host name in View Client, about 15 seconds can elapse before View Client displays the user name and password window. This delay can occur when all of the following conditions are true:

 

• View users are connecting to View from within the organization's firewall.
• The View Client systems are unable to access the Windows Update Server. This can happen if the organization's proxy server or firewall is not allowing access (especially in cases where a whitelist is being used), or the clients are not configured to use the proxy.
• The reason for the delay is the built in timeout duration the client waits is due to the client attempting to check Windows Update to ensure that there are no Root CA updates or Certificate Revocation List updates available from Windows Update.

Windows does not recognize the SSL server certificate configured for View Connection Server. Typically, this happens in these cases:

• View Connection Server uses a self-signed certificate.
• The SSL certificate is signed by an intermediate certificate or a root certificate for a Certificate Authority (CA) that is not recognized by Windows.
• The SSL certificate has expired and the Windows cache has not been updated. 
  
  When a user enters the View Connection Server host name in View Client, the Windows operating system on the client attempts to validate the SSL server certificate by contacting Windows Update Server. Under the preceding conditions, this process can take about 15 seconds.

Solution

To resolve this issue: 

1. Configure the organization’s proxy server and client systems to allow access to the Windows Update Server website.
2. Replace the self-signed SSL certificate used by View Connection Server with an SSL certificate signed by a CA that is recognized by Windows. 
   
   Note: If Windows does not recognize the root CA, configure the client systems to trust the root and intermediate certificates in the certificate chain by importing them into Active Directory or downloading them to the client systems.
